Long-Lost Friends - Your Neighborhood Bookstore

Long-Lost Friends opened in June of 1992, and has happily served the Bear Creek area (just outside Houston) for 17 years. At last count, we had over 65,000 books in our store. We carry a broad range of books, in Children's, Horror, Science Fiction, Romance, Western, War/Adventure, Non-Fiction, General Fiction, Mystery, and others. If you don't see the author or the books that are on your 'find' list, drop us a note. With over 65,000 books in the store, there are many more titles and authors than we can list on the website. We can check our shelves for your wants.

Open Every Day!

Except for the major holidays, Long-Lost Friends is open every day. On Monday, we are open from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. From 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, we have a special "Monday Madness" sale - 25% off all used books. Tuesday through Saturday, we are open from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, and on Sunday, we are open from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm.

Extremely Large Quantity of Science Fiction!

We have just completed a purchase of over 10,000 Science Fiction paperbacks. If there are any obscure titles that are in your want list, and have been unable to find them, give us a try. We are still in the process of listing these books, but will let you know if we find that "long-lost friend". Robert Heinlein, Andre Norton, Philip K. Dick, Ray Bradbury, Roger Zelazny, Isaac Asimov, and Marion Zimmer Bradley are just a few of the authors we've found so far.
